Such a jam packed fun filled magical day spent at Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

Extra special seeing MK decorated for Christmas.

Slightly sad we missed the happily ever after fireworks but it was due to Guardians Of The Galaxy rollercoaster wait which was so worth it.

First time at Universal and it was pretty incredible!

The Harry Potter themed world and rides were so well done. Hagrid’s was my fav ride at the park.

I hadn’t been on a roller coaster since I was 14 and the Velocicoaster was the first ride we went on. 😅 I barely breathed. Didn’t even scream. I think I was in survival mode. I walked off half in shock.

So here is why I love this color 🙌🏼

Shiitake by SW. It’s a mushroom like warm beige with a touch of gray.

It’s not too dark and not too bright.

In my dark hallway it reflects as a lovely warm beige that suits well with my off white walls and trim.

My walls are painted Dover White by SW and trim is Alabaster by SW.

In my bedroom where there is more natural light than my hallway the Shiitake color on the door reflects as a more cooler beige showing more gray undertones. Still, very lovely.

So in conclusion, whether you use this color in a dark space or a brighter space, I love the results.

Always consider your natural light source when picking a color and look at the color throughout the day to ensure you like it! It will look different in different lighting. #paintcolor #beigepaint #hallwayinspo

Greek Villa by Sherwin-Williams is often considered a perfect warm white for a north-facing, poorly lit room because it has a high Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 84. LRV measures the percentage of light a color reflects; the higher the LRV, the more light the color bounces around the room.

In poorly lit spaces, especially those with minimal natural light, using a high-LRV color like Greek Villa helps brighten the area, making it feel more open and airy. Its warm undertones prevent it from feeling cold or sterile, which is essential in north-facing rooms that naturally have cooler, blue-toned light.

North-facing rooms receive indirect, cool light that can make colors appear duller or darker. Choosing a higher LRV maximizes the available light, creating the illusion of brightness even in spaces with limited lighting.

Cool undertones like blue and purple are more apparent in low-light settings because North-facing light enhances cool tones. If a paint color contains even subtle blue or purple undertones, they will become more noticeable. If that is your vibe, great! If not, it’s something to be mindful of!

But always remember, just because you love a paint colour in someone else’s home doesn’t mean it will look the same in yours. Always test a few options in your space and look at it at different times of the day and in different lighting. 😊
